If you found your way to this page, and you've invited Jesus to become Lord of your life, it is the greatest single thing you can do on planet earth! As we go about life and living, there are many things that compete for our attention. We all have goals and aspirations. We were created by a God who creates and He has placed that same creative spark within each of us. It's one of the things I love so much about being an artist. I have the honor and privilege of creating, each time I sit down at a blank canvas, just like the God we serve. We all have talent on loan from God. From the least to the greatest, we've all been given gifts God expects us to share with others.
God's Word tells us we will all live for eternity. Think about the implications of that. Eternity has no end. You cannot measure eternity with earthly time. It doesn't apply. If every person born on planet earth will live forever, the question is, where? God doesn't loose a single soul. Each and every one is important to Him, as if you or I were the only person in the world.
So where will you live for eternity? If you've accepted the gift of life in Christ, by inviting Him into your heart as Lord and Savior, God's Word tells us we will live with Him, in Heaven, for eternity. Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for our sin. He died in our place, so that we don't have to. Hell, we are told in the Bible, was created for Satan (the devil) and the angels who rebelled against God with him. Hell wasn't created for mankind, but it's a legal issue. By refusing to accept the gift of life in Jesus, we are assigned our place alongside the angels who rebelled. We may not fully understand the legality at issue here, but I can assure you, it is understood in spiritual realm.
We cannot earn our ticket to Heaven- it is a free gift. If you have accepted Jesus as Savior, you have joined millions of others who have done the same, as a citizen of Heaven. It's called the Good News, or Gospel. But here's the thing, the blessings of Heaven begin right now, here on earth. If you will read the book of John, you will be well on your way to living a blessed life on earth- blessed beyond your imagining! I'm not saying a life free of trouble. Jesus said you will have trouble on earth, but fear not, I am with you. Like it or not, we are all born into sin, and sin has corrupted the earth. We can either make our own way through (I strongly advise against that), or put the promises of God to work in our daily lives. I strongly recommend the latter! It is what leads to a blessed life on earth and the blessing of life in eternity with our Creator.
