Reflected City Changes, 6' X 4 1'2', has just been released by M Crosland. This large abstract work was completed in oil, with the palette knife, on stretched canvas, with gold floater frame. It has been said that "a good abstract painting demands attention." We would even say that it must command the attention of the room. The new abstract release from M Crosland does that and more. A good abstract painting, in our opinion, must also have color that cannot be ignored. Once again, Reflected City changes doesn't disappoint.
Artist M Crosland first painted the original Reflected City theme 57 years ago. Two years ago, he began reviving his original theme, with a series of new abstract paintings. When we asked about the inspiration for "Changes" he said he was thinking of the eternity of the seasons that govern each year of life on planet earth. Seasons come and go and cities ebb and flow over time with many changes. Change is as certain as the dawning of a new day, some good, some not so good. Reflected City Changes is all good!
